Carbon Reduction

Our appointment

As JTRE London’s chosen advisors, BFY Carbon Strategies were appointed to deliver an operational Net Zero Carbon pathway for the asset.

£193k in year cash benefit: We uncovered substantial inefficiencies in system integration and commissioning, with energy use 30% higher than necessary.

Operational Net Zero Carbon: We produced a detailed pathway to achieve operational Net Zero Carbon by 2035 against the JTRE target of 2040

EPC Improvement: The energy efficiency measures when implemented will enhance the existing EPC rating

Net Operating Income (NOI) Improvement: Reducing energy consumption leads to lower operational costs, improving NOI. Capital investments in energy efficiency, create long-term cost savings and increase the asset’s value.

About the development

Construction completed in 2023 a £450m mixed-use development comprising two sweeping residential towers with 169 residences, an 85,000 sq. ft office building, as well as independent retail, wellness and cultural spaces.
